PATRICIA ROMANOWSKI BASHE, MS.Ed.
Patty is the coauthor of
twenty-three books, including three national bestsellers and the acclaimed Helping Your Kids Cope with Divorce the Sandcastles
Way. Her credits include cowriting Donny Osmond's Life is What You Make It: My Story
So Far, Teddy Pendergrass's Truly Blessed , Annette Funicello's A Dream Is a
Wish Your Heart Makes, Otis William's Temptations--on which the Emmy-nominated 1998
miniseries was based--and Mary Wilson's Dreamgirl: My Life as a Supreme. She also
cowrote, with Joel Martin, the new age classic "George Anderson trilogy" (We Don't Die, We
Are Not Forgotten, and Our Children Forever) and Love Beyond Life: The Healing
Power of After-Death Communication. As a coeditor and contributor, she received ASCAP-Deems
Taylor Special Recognition Award for The New Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock & Roll.
She is a founding board member of The David Center, and co-owner of the OASIS Web site.
In May 2003, Patty earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from Long Island University/C. W. Post’s Competencies
in Autism for Special Educators (CASE) program. She lives with her husband, author
Philip Bashe, and their son Justin, on Long Island.
